The title of this post is also the name of the latest post on Ronald Weinland’s blog made yesterday evening. My answer is “no” and Ronald Weinland is developing the sale of that notion to those drinking his flavor aid with statements such as:
The next and far more meaningful “count” and alignment for Christ’s coming is on Pentecost, June 9th of 2019.
You can know if that is the time Christ will once again stand upon the Mt. of Olives if a third world war has broken out by February or March of 2019 at the latest. If not, then the next possible return will be the Pentecost of 2020. Beyond that and there will be a space of more time that will be a matter of a few years.
And then there was this oxymoronic statement:
The book, Prophesy Against the Nations, explains the prophetic countdown that began in December 1994 and the intricate plan whereby God will fulfill specific timing and prophecy for this end-time. The eventual precise timing God will use to fulfill these prophetic events is somewhat fluid due to current choices being made by people in God’s own Church and by leaders in this world.
He’s also thrown out another bone to divert his followers from his hedging, stating that the proper first name for Christ is not “Jesus” but rather “Joshua”.
Housekeeping on this blog: As I’ve stated, this blog is going away from this site. I’ve copied most of the content to this site “https://fprw.wordpress.com/” in preparation for the transition and have redirected traffic from this site to the new site.
Commenting on this site remains open though Saturday June 16. After that, commenting will be turned off and commenting will not be allowed at the wordpress.com site. For the discussion to continue, I’ve created a Google group https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/false-prophet-ronald-weinland
Registration is required with an email address in order to comment on the group. The purpose for the registration is mainly to control spam. Be aware that your email address will be visible to other group members. So you might want to create a new email address for this purpose. Also be aware that the discussion (but not email addresses) will be visible to the public at large.
It was exactly 10 years ago today that I made my first blog post about False Prophet Ronald Weinland over on Blogspot. It was shortly before Ron’s first great tribulation and two weeks after his “if by Pentecost” declaration that he later reneged on.
In the 10 years since I have blogged about him continuing at Blogspot for about another year and for about the last 9 years at this domain. This in spite of the multiple death curses Weinland has uttered against me. Weinland has continued to prophesy the return of Christ through multiple timelines. I believe that unless he is disabled or expires perhaps due to a third heart attack he will continue with more timelines after this. Ron is the Energizer Bunny of false prophecy.
This blog has been somewhat therapeutic for me because my coming of age coincided with Herbert Armstrong’s 1972 Great Tribulation. I couldn’t pay Herbie back for his false prophecies but I could pay Ronald Weinland forward.
However I have decided not to renew the hosting subscription for this blog and so it will come to an end. I will be looking at archiving the content of this blog on a wordpress.com site but don’t expect to allow commenting there. I rely on a plug-in to filter out comment spam — if I had no filter, then in less that two months the spam would exceed all the legitimate comments made over the last nine years.
We have about 6 weeks to plan for the wind-down of this blog. If anyone has any suggestions for a forum to continue the discussion please them in a comment. Possibly a Google group but there could be other options. I would also like to see someone else take over the management role of the new forum.
As the prior post is filling up with comments, it’s time to start another one to continue the conversation.
And since it’s year end, an opportunity to look back. It’s almost 10 years since the 144,000 were sealed in February of 2008 — except there are yet more to seal. Almost 5 years since Ron went to prison, and about 2 years since his release. Just another year of probation to go, perhaps he will have more options for overseas travel.
Ron is already waffling about Christ’s next return scheduled for Pentecost of 2019, and telegraphing that we may possibly have another set of the two witnesses. If that happens, I expect there to be some continuity with the Weinland family continuing to manage the family false prophecy business.
It’s now one week since the Last Great Day. PKG still doesn’t have a link to the sermon for that day on their website, nor does it have a link to last Saturday’s sermon.
But yesterday they posted the Last Great Day sermon in the PKG YouTube channel. In it Ron recycled his usual sermon about “this way of life, yada yada”. He did tell people that the “sealing” has not taken place, now almost 10 years after it first happened early in 2008.
He also talked about his latest book Prophesy Against the Nations. He doesn’t plan to print paper copies, but has PDF copies on a new website with the URL being the first two words of the book title. Ron fancies himself to be a search engine optimization (SEO) expert. He wants his members to perform a Google search on the book title and click on the link every day — doing that will increase the site rankings in Google. Now I’m not an SEO expert myself, but do know a little bit about it. Enough to know that Ron is much, much better at selling false prophecy than he is at SEO.
And he’s telegraphed that there will be a feast next year. Surprise, surprise.
It seems that something prophetic is going to happen today. In case you’re interested, here’s someone else who likes calculating dates and drawing charts.
But just in case we survive today, the discussion may continue here of Weinland’s failure to warn of the recent hurricanes he no doubt called down upon us. But perhaps he was distracted by reductions in revenues, particularly if he hasn’t yet paid the taxes he owes from 9 through 14 years ago.
I’ve been obviously disengaged for some time now. Received an email request to start a new blog post to keep the comment list from getting too long. Here it is. Play nicely.
“Take Action” is the name of False Prophet Ronald Weinland’s newest sermon series. The action he is discussing is a church-wide fast, but not anything Two-Witness like. There is a mention of heat — but not from fire emanating either from his mouth or the Silent Witness. Rather, it is a reference to the weather and that now PKG members are allowed to wear more casual clothes when coming before God.
In previous sermons, he has indicated that he will be going to Europe for the feast instead of Australia which he has done in the years 2008 through 2011. In 2012 he spent the feast in the basement of his mansion on the golf course wearing a GPS ankle bracelet because he had been convicted of criminal tax fraud and was awaiting sentencing. In 2013, 2014, and 2015 God placed his name on the Terre Haute Federal Correctional Institute where Ron was incarcerated. This year it seems that he can’t get a visa for New Zealand and Australia because of his conviction with other countries like Canada and the UK also unwilling to have him visit. No doubt he will soon exercise his Witness power to call down plagues on countries that reject him.
It’s been May since Ron posted on his blog, and April since my last post. The number of comments on that post has grown to over 300 so this one can be used to continue conversations.
On a personal note, I obviously have been much less involved with this blog although I do monitor what’s going on. I grew up in Armstrongism in the 60s while it was still called the Radio Church of God. I rejected Armstrongism before Herbie’s Great Tribulation failed to materialize in 1972. Since then I’ve led my on life including having a family and a successful technical career. I began blogging in 2008 before the first time Ron’s Great Tribulation failed to start. This has been an opportunity for me to work through my own personal experiences in Armstrongism and have decided to focus on other things. I will keep the blog open, and continue to monitor things. If Ron does something Witness-like I would start up again unless that Witness-like thing is the enforcement of the death curse he issued twice in 2008.
False Prophet Ronald Weinland has posted most of chapter 6 of his new book on his blog. In his latest installment, he starts off with the example of God’s test to see whether Abraham was willing to sacrifice Isaac. This then segues to God’s test of PKG to see whether they would believe that Christ would return on Pentecost of 2012 even though he had already decided that he would send Christ back in 2019.
What really happened was that the god who lives between Ron’s ears decided late in June of 2008 that the return date was in 2012. This was put on hold by the IRS criminal investigation which Ron learned of the following week when the IRS special agent knocked on his door. The god between Ron’s ears later decided that the date was in 2019 since Ron had to finish serving his prison sentence, but only after failures to return in 2013 and 2014.
The title of this post is a quote from Ron’s post. Apparently the god who lives between Ron’s ears and inspired his book does not inspire correct grammar.
Shifting topics, an interesting post on the Banned by HWA blog lists the Treasures of Herbert Armstrong which were sold after his death. I have long held that Ron’s spiritual idol Herbert Armstrong evaded more income taxes than Ron did, he was blessed to have clever legal advice to keep him out of prison.
I also believe that Herbert Armstrong was worse that Weinland in another area. A number of sources available with a search on the Internet describe how Herbert raped his young daughter. While proof of his criminal guilt to a legal standard does not exist, that does not mean that he is innocent. I personally am convinced of his guilt because he did not address accusations in a newspaper, but if on a criminal jury would have to vote against conviction without better evidence. In any case, Weinland has never even been accused of something like this. While evidence at his trial showed that he skimmed thousands of dollars of church funds, I do not believe he would do something like that.
Looking into a few comments made today by Plimsol, I took a look at the Present 47th “Truth”. Previously it read:
47 (26) The day Christ returns is the same 24-hour day when all seven vials (Seven Last Plagues) are poured out, once this Seventh trumpet is blown. It is on this day that the battle of Armageddon is brought to an end by God’s intervention in order to prevent mankind from destroying itself. There has always been speculation concerning this prophesied Day of the Lord. Some believe that this prophecy cannot be accomplished in a single day, but instead believe that this is a period of time that will last 30 to 45 days. This prophesied Day of the Lord is the final 24-hour period that ends a second prophetic period (the final period) bearing the same name of “The Day of the Lord” that is an actual year in length.
Today, the Present 47th “Truth” reads:
47 (26) God has revealed the actual duration for the prophetic “day” when the seven vials of the Seventh Trumpet (Seven Last Plagues) are poured out on the earth. That “prophetic day” consists of the “fifty days” that lead up to and are finally fulfilled by Christ’s coming on Pentecost of 2019. Only God can reveal the duration of any specific “prophetic day.” God set aside two possible dates for Christ’s coming as King of kings. The first potential date of Christ’s coming was Pentecost of 2012, and God revealed that the “prophetic day” for pouring out the Seven Last Plagues would have literally occurred on that one day of Pentecost. Since the purpose of the plagues being poured out is to “destroy those who are destroying the earth,” God has revealed that over 3.5 billion people would have been destroyed in that single day if this event had occurred in 2012.
However, God has moved forward the coming of His Son by exactly seven years to a later date, and He has now revealed that the duration of this “prophetic day” that leads to Christ’s coming has also changed. That “prophetic day” in which the Seven Plagues will be poured out will be fulfilled within the final 50 days that ends on Pentecost of 2019 when Christ returns.
God has revealed that He is extending great mercy to mankind by moving forward the coming of His Son by seven years to 2019. God is working to give mankind greater potential to begin listening to Him and then changing their course of self-destruction so that they might be saved alive. That mercy is also being magnified by how God is extending the duration of the “prophetic day” for the Seven Last Plagues that will now be poured out over 50 actual days. As God changes the manner in which the plagues are poured out, from one day to that period of 50 days, multiple millions more can potentially be saved to live on into the Millennial reign of Christ.
As stated, only God can reveal the specific definition of any given “prophetic day.” There are several examples where a prophetic day is equal to one year in actual fulfillment. When looking at the seven-day week, God revealed that each “day” is as a thousand years in His 7,000-year plan given to mankind to propagate and then continue into the next incredible phase of His great plan of salvation. In this example of a prophetic day being 1,000 years, the seventh day Sabbath is equivalent to the 1,000-year reign of Jesus Christ.
Another well-known example of a “prophetic day” concerns what is revealed in the annual holy day of the Last Great Day. God shows yet another specific duration of time in this “prophetic day.” This is a period of time that will last for 100 years, and it follows immediately after the millennial (1,000-year) reign of Jesus Christ on earth.
The actual period of time for any “prophetic day” can vary according to God’s purpose and design, and only God can reveal what period of time these represent.
I expect that in 2019 we’ll have a new Present 47th Truth.

—— An Open Letter to Johnny Harrell ——————–
Johnny, I know you and you know me. I am writing this letter to you out of friendship and not out of bitterness.
I left pkg approximately two years ago and have no regrets what so ever regarding leaving. It was I that disfellowshipped the Weinlands out of my life and not the other way around. I have not disfellowshipped the members out of my life and that is the truth of the matter. I pray daily for their eyes to be opened and for their understanding to see and understand the lie that is before them, as well as you, and that lie is Weinland.
I know you personally Johnny and I am attempting to understand why you are supporting Wienland and all the falsehoods that he represents. I know you better than you realize. This is not you to be that devoted to Weinland. I know you understand what has written in the Bible to be the absolute Word of God, but yet, you have now chosen to allow a wayward false minister to misled you into believing that this person is authorized to change God’s Written Word as he see fit. This is not you Johnny!
I still value our friendship and would welcome speaking with you again, understanding, that I will have absolutely nothing to do with the Weinlands. As I have stated, I still value our friendship. I understand, in your eyes, to have a restored relationship with me would violate the dictates of Weinland and would have a consequence. In my eyes, that would be a blessing for you.
Johnny, I pray that soon you and the others will finally realize what God is saying in Deut 18:22 concerning Weinland. It bears record of itself.
In closing, I pray daily for you and others to have God open your eyes and understanding to finally see Weinland for what he is. A false prophet. It is not me saying this, it is coming from God’s own words (Deut 18:22)
A friend not an enemy
