Deuteronomy 18:20-22

Haverty has made it official, here’s a lightly redacted copy of his resignation email:

Johnny,

The purpose of this email is to inform you that I am no longer associated with cog-pkg. Please remove my name from the membership and ministry.

My reason for leaving is all contained in Deuteronomy 18:20-22. I no longer accept or support the Weinland’s claims of being God’s appointed prophets and/or witnesses.

The only administrative item to do is for you to make decisions about the scheduled meeting dates (3/22, 4/13, 4/15). Please contact Diane and let me know if I need to cancel any of the above dates.

Please be advised that you or Doris are the only ones I will accept a phone call from for the purpose of transferring responsibilities only.

Sincerely,

Jeffery N____ [now ex-elder from Florida]

I believe those in the know will understand who this is from first names and location alone.

For those PKG members who do not read the Bible, leaving it to Ron to read it and explain it to them, here’s what it says in Deuteronomy 18:20-22:

20 But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die.

21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken?

22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Notice what the verse says.  If you prophesy in the name of the Lord and it doesn’t happen, THEN you have spoken presumptuously.  Ron clearly has done this, and his batting average for prophecy is .000.   Ron twists this verse around, claiming that he didn’t speak presumptuously and therefore is not a false prophet.  Flavor Aid is powerful stuff!!!

Pkg became a charity to give your money to , while the CEO of the charity used the money for his own purposes.

    Some things don’t change:

“Backs broke, bending, digging holes to plant the seeds
The owners ate the cane, and the workers ate the weeds
Put wood in the stove and water in the cup
You worked so hard that you died standing up”

Now that the two Royals have returned to the good ole USA you can bet your booties they’ll be a new post this week from the King of BS.

Just to let you know that Ann is not going to florida. It will be paul, doris, johnny, myrtle and “it” (gossip queen). They will be there on the 22nd of this month to attempt to repair the damage that my departure did. This is all about the show of “we really do care about you” routine.

  4. I have some interesting news for all. Ever since I dumped the “charlatan” things are finally falling in place. I have been working on restructuring my financial affairs for the last year. The “charlatan” and his “felonious” predictions caused me some financial harm to say the least. Finally the damage is being repaired!

Here is some advice for those held in the clutches of the weinlands:

    1) DO NOT max out “any credits cards” with the assumption that Christ’s return will save you.

    2) DO NOT cancel “any life for term life insurance policies” with the assumption that Christ’s return will save you.

    3) DO NOT stop “any payments on your mortgage” with the assumption that Christ’s return will save you.

    4) DO NOT stop “any payments on anything that will affect your credit” with the assumption that Christ’s return will save you.

Now, this is the difficult one, pkg IS NOT the true church of god and all offerings and tithes should cease immediately! If you do this, you will get a phone call from an elder and they will demand that you pay or be disfellowshiped. Remember that tithing is a “choice” that you have made to support a “work” and not someone’s life style. You have the “right” to withdrawn the tithe based on the fact that you no longer agree with the questionable “work”! God does not demand that you support a false prophet and an indefinable purpose of being a church. Tithing is YOUR CHOICE not pkg!!

Get Smart and do the right thing!!!

  5. While I don’t remember Ron suggesting any of these things he defiantly gave the running down the hill sermon. People also cashed in their 401k s as well. Why should he care if your broke? He will never change without a huge wake up call. There is no “work” in PKG. Ron and Laura will spend YOUR last dime! I remember him saying ” well some retirees might have to get a job! What the hell his wrong with HIS wife and kids getting a job? They are better than ALL of us that’s why! Laura is always at the gym so she should be in pretty good shape. Ron and Laura need to stop robbing people and work for at least once in their life. This BS is pathetic! Any one who ever sends them one more dime after he has proven what crook he is , is foolish beyond belief.

  6. Lets say it straight “Ron and family do not work”. They don’t have jobs, they say they speak for God and demand tithes in return.
Well wRONg’s book stated that his prophecy would come true and that would be the proof of it all. Well they did not come true and then miraculously the stated words by wRONg changed to “lets all just band together and await Gods will”.
Await? That word does not fit with 2008 GFW’s stance.
The Weinlands do not work but live of other peoples work. PKG does not have “works”, it is a corporation that only has money coming in and then they (the Weinlands) spend it.
It really is that simple. No work – all spend.
Some people like this and are good with it, so be it. But for those whom want “results” for money contributed then they are wasting money and time.
Does wRONg and family care? NOT AT ALL. They are getting their life fulfilled on your dime and the fact that you have to work for it is not relevant.
    Go figure?

9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.

10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.

12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

United States Cincinnati, OH | Hawaii, HI | Orlando, FL | The Ozarks, MO | Pendleton, OR | San Diego, CA

They must have a bunch of members in Hawaii, otherwise why would they have a Feast there… assuredly it can’t be because some few PKG members have some extra money they haven’t given to Laura yet and want a lavish vacation.

I’m not associated with nor attend any ACoG, but it might be fun to show at one of the sites. I can picture it now… I tell members of the PKG to hang in there — they have to continue to keep the faith even if Ron Weinland is wrong about prophecy and a false prophet — that everyone needs to keep following him even if what he says and does is unscriptural because God is testing us to see if we will follow someone who is wrong so we can enter into the Kingdom. (I can do this with a straight face — I’ve had practice.) I can picture myself laying it on thick for the PKG members (some of whom I know from the WCG days) with sarcasm and irony and they would not have a clue.

Of course, this assumes that there will still be a lot of PKG members after Pentecost and I’m not sure that’s a valid assumption.

Still, it would be fun! It would be Glorious!

    Who you gonna believe?

Ron, whose only basis for his claim (based on zero fulfilled prophecy, and worse anti-fulfillment of prophecy) is on his say so.

    Or God?

Anyone who is a PKGer believes in Ron over God and God’s clear and unambiguously stated word.

Their end will be very sad indeed. They will go into the “pit” along with Ronald Weinland as Christ stated would happen.

  11. Randy, I believe one of the suits Ron wore during his criminal income tax evasion trial actually cost $1700.00. While on the witness stand Ron proudly told the court he purchased the suit from Nordstrom’s at a cost of $1700.00. He also proudly told the court the suit was purchased specifically for church related business.

Too bad Ronnie boy’s’ criminal income tax evasion trial had absolutely nothing to do with any type of church related business. Both the prosecution and trial judge were well aware of this fact. I guess one could say Ron really stuck his foot in his mouth testifying that day. Wonder how much Ron’s shoes cost and if that one shoe he stuck in his mouth tasted as good as the grub currently being served at Club Fed?

Guess it’s not a good idea to take the witness stand to testify on your own behalf when you’re guilty as sin and prouder than a peacock displaying all it’s tail feathers, With only two years and change to go on Ron’s Club Fed vacation sentence I’m sure he’s looking forward to the day he’ll be able to trade in his orange jumpsuit for his Nordstrom’s suit.

By the time the year 2016 rolls around do you think they’ll be enough tithe paying members left in order for Ron to be able to afford having his $1700.00 it dry cleaned?

And so it goes. One more “X” marked off for March 10th on Ronnie’ cell wall calendar with approximately 880 more “X”s to go. Ron, that’s not really too long of a wait to wear your $1700.00 suit and enjoy several cups of hot Starbuck’s java on the ride home from Uncle Sam’s big house to you and Laura’s big house on the golf course..

Ron, please be careful drinking hot Starbuck’ java while riding in a moving vehicle. You don’t want to spill any hot java on your body and God forbid burn yourself. Because if you do it will men an immediate trip be off to your attorney’s office to initiate a lawsuit against Starbucks for serving hot coffee that’s too darn hot.

Man, Ronnie’s having one hell of a vacation over at Club Fed, don’t you think???

The irony of that defense mechanism would be lost on them. So then they will go back inside the hotel and have one of Ron’s pre-written sermons read to them, and they will marvel at the ‘lying wonder’ who is speaking very convincing sounding things, but they are untrue and he is twisting them for his own purpose.

  16. Hello All,
Good to see positive progress going on here. I have read up the last couple of nights while out of town on business.

    Jocko,
Yes it was a $1,700 suit Ron had on in court the day he was on the witness stand himself. McBride the prosecutor was going through the Weinlands abundance of receipts and examples of the insane amounts of co-mingled money that was spent. Bob McBride was questioning a particular receipt trying to clarify what the $1,700 was for. He then saw it was a single item and concluded it was for a single suit. Right about then Ron the Con piped up and stated, “I have that suit on now.”

No one could believe someone would spend that amount of money on a suit. Ron was really proud of his high dollar suit as he gloated about having it on. Then McBride reminded Ron the suit was bought with “church money” and that Ron was there on PERSONAL BUSINESS. It was funny to see Ron get beaten down a few notches in a quick witted way. McBride’s sarcasm and quick wit made the trial somewhat bearable and very entertaining. He was way to quick for Ron and set him up repeatedly and then blasted Ron down. RON LOOKED LIKE A LOST, LYING JACKASS MOST OF THE TIME. Which is what Ron is about. What a TOOL. Audra and Ron embarrassed themselves. The jury thought they were stupid idiots that could not keep their lies straight and we knew they were VERY GUILTY.
