Did Not Leave Because of the Coffee

Here is as its own post a comment left earlier this morning.  In the past I have posted copies of such letters without revealing full names, but since Donna chose to leave her full name in the comment it is repeated here.

Hi to all,
I have not been on here for awhile as I don’t care for people blaming God for what a man has done. We are all responsible for our own actions. GOD IS ALIVE AND WELL! I read the  post of our latest retiree from PKG. I am so glad that there is still hope for some to come to their senses. I did not leave because of the coffee. I am attaching a copy of the letter I sent directly to Ron and Laura. It is a little lengthy but I think it will let some on this blog see that we left for all  the right reasons. Please read to the end, I know it is long.

This is to the Church of God – PKG.  I am removing myself from the membership of this organization. Reasons are as follows.

Ron and Laura Weinland,

You have  proven to me that you are no longer following  the truths of God that were given to us through the scriptures.  I have been searching the scriptures daily for a time now, trying to prove what you are teaching.  I have found no proof for the words that you speak. You have as of the last few years been giving you own interpretation. 2Peter 2:20  (Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is an any private interpretation. (21) For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.  The words in the Bible are true and right. You cannot make them fit your agenda.  I have tried now for years to believe what you are still preaching even from your prison cell but not one of your prophecies have been fulfilled.

Read what it tells us in Deuteronomy 18:20-22  But the prophet, which shall presume to speak  a word in my name , which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of others gods, even that prophet shall die.  And if thou say in your heart,  How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken? When a prophet speaks Sin the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken presumptuously: thou shall  not be afraid of him.

You tell us that when God says we are to turn to the right or left we just do it. Are we not to prove all things?  Yet the Bible tells me in  Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, (meaning is according to the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance) ( the function or the information-doctrine, learning ,teaching ) by the sleight of man, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. When is the last time you have told the congregation to open their Bibles and prove all things according to scripture.

I do believe that at one time you spoke the truth, but the truth is no longer in you. You are LAODICEAN, it is still the Laodicean Era. There is no other era mentioned in the Bible. Or do you think that God forgot to put that in there for our edification. When did you forget who you were to be serving? You cannot serve two masters.

When you revealed to the church that Laura was the second witness and said you were the spokesman, it tells us in the Bible that they both speak.  Where is it written in scripture? We are to  prove all things. You have lifted yourself up  and yet you tell me how humble you and Laura are. Yet I see nothing but haughtiness and pride in both of you.  There have been so many lies told that Laura and yourself cannot back track fast enough to cover yourself.  Have you read the scriptures lately as to what is to happen to the false prophets. God does not allow it for very long and I think that your time is over. At least I pray that it is. I pray that people will be able to have the scales removed from their eyes while there is still time. You have deceived God’s people for so long and now they have lifted you and Laura up and made you their idol. Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. can be deceived, even you.

You and Johnny keep telling me if I am  digging in the garbage pit I no longer have God’s  Spirit. Well I am digging in the Bible, is that also what you consider the garbage pit. I have been seeking Gods truth and guidance for a couple of years now and this is where He has lead me. I am not just a dumb sheep following what you say is the truth. I am trying to prove  all things. I am now going to have to go back and prove everything that you have taught. When did the lies begin? That is what I am going to have to look for, the beginning.

I have read most of the trial transcripts on line. I do not consider them garbage as they were given by your  daughter and elders in the church, under oath, right? Did they all lie. I have caught Laura in a number of lies just recently but have tried to overlook them . But that is not what we are told to do. When did money become so important to you and your family that you forsook God? Do you realize how you have hurt the body? Those that have given their tithes and offerings with a willing heart.  And yet you have rewarded those that you and Laura PREFER above others. You give money to just certain ones that you feel are worthy, but there some who are hurting and them you leave out. They are not good enough to be part of your circle. God has always blessed me that I have been able to take care of myself, but there are others who really needed the churches help but they were never given any. Yet they follow you and Laura, just stumbling along hoping for a crumb. But they don’t look to God as their source of peace. I told Laura not too long ago that this is not the Church of Ron. I follow God. I have tried to find truth in your teaching but you have become blinded with the money you stole from God for your own gain. I wish that you would repent but I think that you have sold yourself to something different.

Proverbs 6:16 -19  These are six things that the Lord hates. Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17. A proud look, a lying tongue Hands that shed innocent blood
18. A heart that devices wicked plans,  Feet that are swift in running to evil
19. A false witness  who speaks lies  and one who sows discord among the brethren.

I don’t believe that seeking the truth and telling others to open their Bibles is sowing discord. But there is  nothing that one can say that will help someone to open their eyes. I can save no one but myself as we are told.  I do pray for the body as I think they are deceived but that is between them and God. But I think that there is going to be much blood on your hands. You were to be the head of your family but you listened to a woman. And so it all began! PLEASE  PLEASE  repent for the sake of the body. A man is to be leading his family, what has happened to the ministry?

These are the things that I see in you and in the ministry. You told me that my baptism was not legit because the man who baptized me was not a minister in the WWCG. Yet you have woman baptizing and they are not even given the right to speak in church. And I don’t believe that this means a physical place where people worship. You  made women elders so that Laura could collect a pay check. Did you not have enough money at your disposal?  You don’t even counsel for baptizing, were you just  trying to enlarge your numbers.  Was this to make you look good or was it again the money coming in that you and your family squandered on personal pleasure. How much of this do you not want the congregation to know? Is that why you keep threatening the body, is that of God? Do you think He will be pleased with what you have done?

I see where you used the churches money to fund Jeremy’s education. Could I get that to help Ethan further his education. I think that the answer would be no. And yet my son works hard and he would find a job, which is more than what Jeremy has done. As told to me by Laura. Even your daughter is not qualified to do the job she has, it is only because she is family. She is not an accountant. But then an outside accounting firm would not have lied and cheated for you. You would have had to pay your taxes just like I have to do ever year.  Maybe that is where you started to go wrong. Laura talks too much and tells too many stories, each time it has a different twist to it. She is just one of the many gossips in the church, but as I said, just one. Is that not one of the things that God hates? But for her it is okay. And the truth be told, I still love Laura very much. I counted her as a friend but I know she is not sincere. I have heard her talk about so many of the other people in the body. If she is slandering some I know she is doing the same thing with all of us. You have known this for a long time as I know people have brought it to your attention.  You even mentioned it in a sermon at one time. Yet you were not strong enough to rule your own house.

Ron I wonder if you are really that blind or if it is what you choose to believe. I don’t believe that you have the character needed for repentance, at least not that I have ever seen in you, but I hope and pray that you will. Many are called, few are chosen.  There are vessels to honor and some to dishonor. Just as I told Laura that Mr. Tkatch was put in his position in God’s church to do what needed to be done. It was all part of the God’s plan. You know Ron, I have thought on what the Bible tells us about Adam and Eve. Adam was not deceived but he followed his wife. I think the same is true for you. You knew better, but Laura was more important to you than God. Ron, I still love you both as we are commanded but I pray for God to do what He has to do quickly to wake up those that still love God more than they love you and Laura. I pray that you both repent but if not?????

I am still in the body of Christ, as He dwells in me.  Being in a physical organization does not put me in the body.  So says HWA. You have brought shame on the name of God’s church. You carry His name, how do you think He feels? Christ asked if he would find faith when he returns. My faith is in God and His son, NOT in you. You have made the body to believe that their place of safety is in the PKG. Yes, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
