I found these scriptures to be of great interest to me. This is the base scriptures that the cog’s use for disfellowshipment of troublesome members. However this can be applied in a reverse manner to address false teachers and prophets (weinlands). God instructs true believers to flee from false prophets and teachers!!
Now here is where I am going with this. There some of us who left the gulag on our own and where not put out by the fraudulent ronnie the hoax. In other words, it was an action taken totally based on the above scripture to “protect” ourselves from what is being described in the above scripture. Those written words, “… serve their own belly….by their smooth and fair speech they beguile the innocent …”
Folks!! Here is the real truth about the weinlands and they they aptly described to the “tee” in those scriptures!!!
Get this ronnie, myself and others “marked” you for what you are and disfellowshipped you because of the threat you posed to our own spiritual health!!! You do not have to be a minister to protect yourself from an errant false teacher that you are!!!! It is God’s Word that condemns you dude!!!!

ronnie the hoax and laura the yenta would never allow the opening of the books because it would be an immediate exposure of what they really are. However you are right on with the secretive nature of the thieves. That should raise the suspicion of any reasonable individual. Maybe juror bags can reveal some of the questionable expenditures. I, personally, would love to examine the revenues and expenditures of the gulag since 2005 to present.

Elder my guess is that Ron ALWAYS did exactly what he pleased with the money. He just finally got caught.This goes back to the enormous sense of entitlement they have always had. All cloaked in humility until the books were opened. PKGers see this but they simply don’t care.All he needs is for people to also think he is entitled and he’s all set. They REALLY believe all the hokum he can dish out. I believe it’s because they have allowed Ron to TRANSLATE the Bible for them. They simply take his word for it.

I feel for “movin’ on”. Been there, done that. You’ll decide what is best for you and family and make peace with yourself, only time does that. Don’t be to hard on yourself. Once you reach the conclusion that you’ve tried all you can and everything thing you can, it will get easier for you.
As for Ron and his “church”, I’ve been far better off without it, as many here will say. Yes, I miss some of the people that claimed to be friends, but a a true friend will always be there no matter what. Some friends have contacted me, others have not. Guess I feel it is their loss, just like I feel it is Gary’s loss. With his pride etc…he’ll never see it until the end, just like Ron. Some will never admit that they have been wrong cause of it. In the end, they will be old, lonely, unfulfilled people, but this is their chose.

Elder, when we first learned about the Sabbath and plan of God we wanted to tell everyone we met. LOL They couldn’t hear it then and the PKGers can’t hear it now. They are “stuck” believing a certain way . At this point they are no different than any one in a worldly religion. They simply believe everything the ” priest or Prophet ” says as coming from God. They have built a “wall” of men between God and themselves and they don’t see it. This is something we cannot get across to them. We have been labeled by Ron as either rablel rousers or never were’s. Time will show some of them the error of Ron’s ways but some will never come to the knowledge of the truth. Personally it took me years to come to the full knowledge of problems within the COGS. At first I thought it was just WWCG but when Ron fell from grace I realized it was all of them. The difficulty is deciphering what is Gods and what are the church teachings. Once you get a few of these things straight in your mind , you are on the road to recovery. Hopefully over the next few years a few more will begin to see the damage all the COGS have done.

I now understand exactly what you are talking about. The “wall of men” that stands between you and God is very true and real and it is demanded of the membership to “not” question and obey unconditionally this “wall of men”. Well, that no longer works for me and from this day forward I will challenge any individual who attempts to demand “unconditional submission” to them and not God regarding my life will be confronted quickly!!!
Since I have “marked” (disfellowshipped) ronnie the hoax, my life has been going in the right direction. I have reviewed all of ronnie’s failed prophesies and what he based them on and have come to the conclusion that it is all pure imagination of a diabolical delusional fool!
What comes to my mind is that one group of individuals in the NT (Breans) that if someone came preaching something different they would quickly kick them to the curb!! And what was their defense? It was their knowledge of what God had taught them directly through searching the scriptures daily on their own and they had the ability to recognize someone like the fraudulent one (ron) and send them down the road!! I am doing this very thing and it is eye opening at what I am learning in order to protect myself from this day forward from charlatans like ron and laura!!

It’s good to actually obey Scripture and disfellowship the Weinlands.
It would also be good if they repented, returned what money they could and apologize. One Armstrongist minister actually did apologize this year for being a false prophet, but didn’t follow through and quit the ministry.
The Weinlands are ultimate fools, for if they don’t repent and the Bible is true, they will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, be burned up and we will be done with them for all eternity: Gone — just gone… and forgotten.
It amazes me that they have no fear.

Elder, if ten men were lost in the woods and nine wanted to go a certain way but the 10th man wanted to go the way he knew in his heart was right , he most likely would go along with the nine lost men so he wouldn’t end up alone in the forest. Unfortunately most of us just go along with the group you identify with. It’s very difficult and sometimes a little lonely to go off on your own. You also feel vulnerable when you go against the majority of the group.WWCG did teach us how to live different than most people and survive the trip. We know deep down in that it is the narrow road or the road less traveled that is the one we should be on. We cannot worry about what others think and we are ONLY responsible to God alone. This unconditional submission you mention goes against everything God actually teaches us. We are to be set apart from the way most men think. Men like Ron try to keep everyone in their place . It’s only when we see this that we become free to worship God almighty as an actual adult and not a child following along. Ron can’t have ANYONE thinking for themselves.This goes against everything he teaches. He couldn’t be the ONLY one God speaks to then could he? He must convince everyone that they can only reach God through him. God almighty rent the veil in the Holy of Holies and made himself available to all men, so we would not have to go through a priest, but rather have direct access to him at all times. It’s so simple, but men love to complicate things to suit themselves. There’s gold in them thar hills you know. You just need men to go along with you , to be part of the nine rather than the one.

Nope. Skip the leaders. Direct connection and personal accountability are the purest form of worship. Leaders always eventually fail and disappoint. Then the followers are left to make excuses and to settle for second best. That is not to say that we cannot occasionally learn from strong, knowledgeable, or experienced people, but they should be more like a reference book when you need to look something up. Also, like communism, Armstrongism has a horrible history of corrupting its leaders, turning them into self-absorbed despots who exploit and oppress. So-called grooming of leaders has been tried with both philosophies enough now, over and over and over, and the result is always the same. Turns them into psychopaths, or attracts people who already were psychopaths.
One of the most horrifying non-sequitur statements from our shared pasts always was “Hi, I’m one of ‘God’s ministers’, and I’m here to help you!”

Individuals need to evaluate so called “leaders” to make sure that they are following Christ. It is this “unconditional submission” that is demanded by these leaders that is the problem. I agree with BB where you can trust and learn from someone who has the knowledge and experience that you can learn from, however, when an individuals starts to take the position that they are God’s chosen then that is the time to question and examine this individual.
Failed prophesies, demand of tithes, conviction of felony offenses, lavish life styles, and if you dare question me your are out are “red flags” that this individual “is not” following Christ. Martin, the problem with following any leader is that at some point , this leader will travel down a wrong path and you will follow him out of habit or love. We need to set our own path with the Bible as our guide. Think about it Martin, God gave us a mind and reasoning power for a reason. Who did Christ follow? Only God Almighty! He found NO MAN worthy of following in his day and there are none now . You are following a human being with greed and sin in his very nature. Sorry, but I’m finished with that. When Ron was still JUST a minister, I felt we were still in a good place. When he became the Apostle, the Prophet and the Witness he became infallible . Then you knew EVERYTHING he said was Gods lips to Ron’s ears and he could NEVER make a mistake again. If he turned out to be wrong, it was somehow God trying to tell us something new. NEVER WRONG is not mans way, but it is Ron’s way. I’m afraid all these church leaders are the same way. There are many things you can learn from others, but no more following with the fear of being tossed out if you disagree. From HWA to REW there was never a time when ” questions” were good.

Our church always prided itself on not having idols made of metal or stone, but we didn’t need them. We made ours out of flesh and blood, and set them up in the place of God to follow and worship. To start with his flip flop on marriage and Divorce , That has caused the destruction of who knows how many families over the last 4 Decades . Totally against the simple Words of Jesus Christ , Paul and Moses .
Please do not mistake what I am trying to say here. I do not condemn anyone who has remarried and i do not believe they are being Judged for doing so . I do condemn the Teaching as being unbiblical and not in line with what Jesus Christ said for the church. I believe HWA changed it in the Mid 70s , How ironic since then we have seen the Largest Divorce rate nation wide of all time, and climbing .
I condemn the Teachers who Teach people how to live Wrong. The church is supposed to be different than the world. The teaching of Christ and Paul showed what was right for the church. Again ,NOT judging or Condemning anyone who has remarried , just making the point that the Teaching of HWA is out of line with God’s Word.
This destructive doctrine coupled with The False prophecy that has people , till this day worried more about the Germans attacking and not worried enough about treating there fellow brothers and sisters Right should be it. It has been a massive problem for people’s Peace. And the love of God Grows cold with such Division .There are other things as well , but those two things are massive ! a major stumbling block . Note the great divide within all HWA has created . A house divided will not stand . It was destroyed , But it continues today and is worse. Question , What is The Fruit ?

I don’t see anybody being killed, therefore the WWCoG is not the beast, and PKG is not the image of the beast.
Note “image” is singular not plural, the multiple hundreds of splinters can not be the “image of the beast”.
You can not have multiple “images”, there is only one image of the beast. It is the papacy based off the Roman system.

I found it interesting that he is still blaming the government for why he is in prison. I wonder if his statement against the government could effect him from any early release? Just wondering.
